Legend Extra Stout, from the stables of Nigerian Breweries Plc., has taken another set of winners in the on-going Real Deal National Consumer Promo, to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, for an all-expense paid unique shopping experience.
The second set of the lucky consumers who emerged winners at the Enugu Draws, a forthnight ago were on Monday, June 9, flown to Dubai where the brand spoilt them with fun and excitement in addition to shopping for items worth N1 million in one of Dubai’s biggest malls.
On their arrival in Dubai the lucky winners were treated to a whole day of desert safari. There they visited different exciting spots. Their first stop was at the Falcon spot where they learnt a few things about the Falcon from an expert Falconer who also entertained them with exciting Falcon displays. Next was the Sunset photo Spot where they had fun running up and down the dunes, taking personal photographs and watching the sun set in the middle of the Arabian Desert.
The fun later moved to the Camel Spot where the winners enjoyed an exciting camel riding experience. They capped off the day’s adventure at the Bedouin-style camp being entertained by a Belly Dancer while they enjoyed a three course Arabic dinner.
The next day, they embarked on the unique shopping experience at one of Dubai’s biggest shopping malls. One after the other the winners raced through some sections of the shopping mall, in 60 seconds, picking the range of items they could lay their hands on.
The lucky winners expressed delight with their new but unique experience in Dubai and also expressed satisfaction with the items they picked.
Olusegun Ogunbiade, a carpenter who emerged a lucky winner from Port Harcourt described the entire Dubai experience as enlightening. He thanked Legend Extra Stout for changing his perception of life generally through the Dubai trip.
He said, “Legend has elevated my thinking; I now have a better estimation of myself. Something I never imagined will come within my reach, Legend has made possible free of charge. It has been VIP treatment right from my base in Port Harcourt down to Dubai”.
Olusegun, who initially doubted the authenticity of the promo, also dropped a few words for those who may still be in doubt about the genuineness of the promo.

For Stephen Ajayi, a bus driver in Ibadan, Oyo State the trip to Dubai was not all about the shopping; it was about the new experience the promo has given him.
According to him, “I have never owned an international passport before; I have never travelled by air in my life talk less of leaving the shores Nigeria. But Legend has made it all happen for me free of charge. I value the exposure and experience more than the items I picked”.
Emmanuel Ogunje, a civil servant from Delta State said he would not forget the Legend Dubai Promo in a hurry. For him it was a case of killing two birds with one stone.

Another shopper, Chinonyerem Eleleme, a teacher was glad that Legend did not give him the N1 million in cash. According to Chinonyerem, if the money was given to him, he would never have thought of giving himself the luxury and exposure he enjoyed right from his base in Kaduna to Dubai. Chinonyerem has not as much as been to an airport before the Dubai Shopping.
He said, “For the first time in my life I enjoyed something that I only see in films. Left on my own it would have taken a long time for me to travel outside Nigeria. But now I can boast that I have flown both locally and internationally”.
Chinonyerem plans to sell some of the things that he bought in order to raise money to start his own small business. He was full of gratitude to Legend Extra Stout for taking him far beyond his imagination.
Jephtha Chukwuoti, 21 year old student of Federal Polytechnic, Okoh, also expressed gratitude to Legend Extra Stout for giving him the opportunity of seeing the outside world. He was also happy with the items he picked. He said he would sell some of the items and use the money to assist his mother in paying for his education.
Peter Boniface, a trader from Akwa Ibom State, Anchuku John, a driver with a construction company in Enugu, and Romanus Nnamani, were all full of kind words for Legend Extra Stout for the lifetime experience. Both Boniface and Anchuku plan to sell some of their items as they cannot use everything.
It would be recalled that the first set of winners returned from Dubai in May with happy tales.
