Verve, Africa’s leading domestic payment cards and tokens brand, has announced Truecaller as a strategic partner for the ninth edition of VerveLife, themed ‘Ignite’, further expanding the lifestyle, technology and community dimensions of Africa’s biggest fitness experience.
The partnership reflects Verve’s continued evolution of VerveLife beyond a traditional fitness event into a broader lifestyle platform that brings together wellness, entertainment, technology and community. For Truecaller, the partnership provides an opportunity to engage with consumers through a platform centred on active living, shared experiences and community.
Through partnerships with brands that align with the interests and lifestyles of its audience, VerveLife continues to create opportunities for consumers to connect, participate and experience the platform in new ways.
Commenting on the partnership, Cherry Eromosele, Executive Vice President, Group Marketing and Communications, Interswitch Group, said the addition of Truecaller strengthens the technology and lifestyle dimension of this year’s VerveLife.
“VerveLife has always been about creating experiences that connect with people beyond the traditional boundaries of a fitness event. As we ‘Ignite’ our ninth season and take the experience to more communities across Nigeria, we are delighted to welcome Truecaller to the VerveLife family. Their focus on trusted communication and digital experiences complements our ambition to bring together technology, lifestyle, wellness and community in ways that are relevant to our audience,” she said.
VerveLife 9.0 has already taken place in Ikorodu, Ibadan and Enugu, with upcoming experiences scheduled for Surulere and Uyo ahead of the grand finale at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos, on November 21st, 2026.
Ogochukwu Onwuzurike, Country Manager, Nigeria, Truecaller, said the partnership provides an opportunity for the brand to connect with consumers through an experience that brings together different aspects of everyday life.
“Truecaller is pleased to partner with VerveLife 9.0 and connect with a community that values active living, shared experiences and meaningful connections. VerveLife provides a unique platform where technology, lifestyle and community blend seamlessly together, and we are delighted to be part of that experience. We look forward to engaging with consumers in new and relevant ways while celebrating the connections that matter in everyday life,” she said.
The 2026 VerveLife journey will culminate in Lagos with a 2-day experience with day 1, November 20th, featuring an enlightening ‘Train the Trainer’ session, accompanied by an industry-focused mixer to wind down the day’s activities. Day 2 will feature high-energy fitness activities, an obstacle course, masterclasses, a kiddies’ corner and appearances by fitness personalities and trainers in the morning, and wrap up in an exclusive after-party after sunset.
The ninth edition also features the ‘Road to VerveLife 9 Stage’ pan-African competition, which gives fitness trainers, dance instructors, aerobics coaches, yoga and Pilates instructors, and other fitness enthusiasts an opportunity to earn a coveted place on the VerveLife stage.
As VerveLife 9.0 continues its journey across Nigeria, the partnership with Truecaller adds to the platform’s growing network of collaborations, further expanding the ways in which technology and lifestyle can be integrated into the VerveLife experience as the season builds towards its epic grand finale.
